Scientific/Commercialisation Advisory Committee The independent Scientific/Commercialisation Advisory Committee ensures that scientific goals are obtained through high quality competitive research and that the research is optimised to achieve valuable outcomes through expert commercial assistance and advice.

Executive Committee One The Executive Committee is the major operational committee of the CRC. It monitors the internal operations of research Programs 1-3 and 5, checking resource levels compared with research and education progress and identifying further opportunities for integration of skills and for cooperation. The Committee also observes research and commercial activities in the external community for possible impacts on the CRC.

Executive Committee Two The Program 4 research program into joint prostheses is managed separately from the other research programs. One of the CRC’s new commercial supporting partners, Zimmer, has rights to specified intellectual property developed from this research.

InflaMac Pty Ltd Centre Intellectual Property (Centre IP) generated through the life of the CRC is held by our management company, InflaMac Pty Ltd, in trust for the University Participants. InflaMac is responsible for the commercialisation of Centre IP in accordance with the CRC’s Centre and Commonwealth Agreements. It markets Centre IP to industry by seeking potential licensees of the Centre IP and presents such commercialisation options to the CRC’s Governing Board. If required by the University Participants, InflaMac will negotiate on behalf of the University Participants with the CRC’s commercial partners in relation to Centre IP. InflaMac’s directors are Dr John Flack (Managing Director), Dr Peter Isdale and Dr David Cookson. The Company Secretary is Ms Robyn McLachlan. |
