Our researchers seek to find better treatments for serious chronic inflammatory diseases including:

- Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA)
- Osteoarthritis
Our CRC discovers new molecular targets involved in the pathogenesis of chronic inflammatory lung and joint disease. We use this information to develop novel treatments for chronic inflammatory diseases.
Our research programs include:
- Macrophages in inflammatory diseases
- Macrophage differentiation and activation pathways
- Target validation
- Macrophage-lineage cells and the inflammatory reaction to joint prostheses
- Computational biology and structural and functional genomics
